Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates 169,685 SF Lease in Phoenix

PHOENIX, September 29, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Western Window Systems signed a lease at Airport I-10 Business Park, located at 2200 E. Riverview Street in Phoenix.

Cushman & Wakefield Executive Managing Directors Andy Markham, SIOR and Mike Haenel, Senior Vice President Will Strong and Associate Phil Haenel represented the tenant.

Phoenix-based Western Window Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality door systems and windows, leased Building C at the Airport I-10 Business Park totaling 169,685 square feet (SF). The Class A industrial distribution building was developed by Wentworth Property Company and Clarion Partners and was completed in 2016.

“Building C at Airport I-10 Business Park offered Western Window Systems an opportunity to more than double in size from their current location,” according to Markham. “Further appealing to the tenants needs, the expanded manufacturing area will also feature additional shipping docks and increased space for their sales, customer service, supply chain, IT, finance and marketing teams.”

Scheduled to move-in in December, the company will relocate its office and manufacturing operations to the new facility. Western Window Systems expansion from its current space of 74,201 SF will be able accommodate over 300 employees. Moving to the new state-of-the-art facility is part of an increased investment in engineering and manufacturing capabilities to operate more efficiently and keep up with business demands.

“Western Window Systems is focused on making the best door systems and windows in North America and we’re thrilled to be moving into a new building in Phoenix that will provide room for long-term growth,” says Western Window Systems president and CEO Scott Gates. “We’re looking forward to expanding our relationships, introducing more innovative solutions for indoor-outdoor living, and offering our partners more consistency and better-quality products as we scale our operations.”

The leasing team will sublease Western Window Systems current 74,201 SF building in Phoenix. For inquiries and additional information contact Cushman & Wakefield at 602-954-9000.
