A Kimpton boutique hotel is coming to One Hundred Mill in Tempe, the Phoenix Business Journal reported today.

A 15-story, 237-room Kimpton hotel will rise from one of the two towers at the $190 million project at the corner of
Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway. In addition to the hotel, One Hundred Mill will feature a 15-story, 260,000-Kimptonsquare-foot mixed-use office tower with 20,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space.

Cushman & Wakefield has the leasing assignment for One Hundred Mill. Office space will be handled by Jerry Noble, Patrick Devine and Greg Mayer and the retail by Brent Mallonee and Rhonda Diaz Caldewey.

According to the Business Journal, the Kimpton will offer 12,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, a 4,750-square-foot rooftop pool and terrace lounge, along with a fitness center and a full-service Kimpton-managed restaurant and bar menu.

Kimpton operates two properties in the Valley: the Palomar at CityScape in Downtown Phoenix and FireSky Resort and Spa in Scottsdale. It also runs Amara Resort in Sedona.

The project is a partnership of Douglas Wilson Companies of San Diego and Hensel Phelps Development LLC.

Ground breaking for One Hundred Mill is scheduled in November. The project is expected to be completed in two years.
