PHOENIX, AZ (April 20, 2015) – With the “Great Recession” squarely in the rearview mirror, there is optimism that the Valley’s commercial real estate industry is in recovery in regard to growth, job creation, vacancy rates and available capital.

These and other topics will be discussed by featured speaker Chris Toci, Executive Director in the Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, at the May lunch sponsored by the Arizona chapter of CoreNet Global. The presentation, “Phoenix Rising,” is an in-depth overview of the Valley’s real estate market evaluating demographic drivers and supply and demand.

Toci, who began his career as an investment broker in 1998, is a consistent top performer for Cushman & Wakefield, earning accolades both locally and nationally. In 2014 he was named C&W of Arizona’s Top Producer for the second straight year.

This past year he negotiated investment sales totaling 2 million square feet for $290.4 million in consideration. The largest single transaction he closed was the $85.1 million sale of Anchor Centre in the Camelback Corridor.

Besides serving as keynote speaker for “Phoenix Rising,” Toci participates on specialty panels for CCIM/IREM, ICSC, and ULI’s Trends Day. He also offers market analysis and personal insights to industry publications such as AZRE magazine, Commercial Executive Magazine, and Western Real Estate Business.

He and Chad Littell won the 2015 RED Award for top Office Team-Sales. He also was named Investment Broker of the Year at the 2014 Best of NAIOP Arizona event.
